Biography of Paul N. Adams, creator of robocounsellor.com

Paul N. Adams is an expert in computer-delivered counselling. RoboCounsellor uses automated procedures and not a human to do effective counselling with a client in real time, addressing and improving topics of real concern chosen by the client.

Born in London in 1950 he led a dull life as a child. Equally uninspired were three years spent at the University of East Anglia nominally studying mathematics and physics from 1968 till 1971. In 1972 he decided to devote his life to the service of his fellow man, and joined many people of like mind in a long full-time career with the Church of Scientology in East Grinstead, Sussex. He stayed with the church until 1996, the final ten years working in Los Angeles. Despite all the current negative publicity the church is receiving for its management excesses, its core services involve many kinds of highly effective counselling procedures. These proved to be a hugely useful springboard from which to research and develop his current procedures. He stayed in the US for another ten years, mostly in Los Angeles, then moved back to England in 2006.

His first counselling website using this robot paradigm was www.paulsrobot.com, which went online in August 2006. He added various modules to it over the next two years which extended the range of services available, from the mundane to the transpersonal and metaphysical. All these counselling modules were of an alternative nature, meaning that they do not reflect mainstream counselling techniques. In 2007 he put various counselling videos online at YouTube under the channel name of "Yawnguy". These videos mainly deliver a session in real time to the client, addressing whatever is most bugging the client at that time.

A comprehensive guide to these different kinds of automated counselling media is available at www.yawnguy.com, along with unsolicited testimonials from over 60 people.

His latest online endeavour is RoboCounsellor at www.robocounsellor.com, designed to concentrate on and automate current mainstream counselling procedures, and he is working on adding value to that site today.

Despite extensive online writings to various websites and message boards, his only book currently available is a non-counselling eBook entitled "Rubik's Cube: How to Solve the Shepherd Cube and Tartan Cube". Future books on Robocounselling are expected.

He lives in Newcastle upon Tyne in North-East England, close to his brother and sister.
